This water-resistant flea collar uses extended-release technology to deliver active ingredients to your dog’s coat and skin. It offers lasting protection against fleas, flea eggs, flea larvae, ticks, and deer ticks. The adjustable design is easy to use—simply place it around your dog’s neck, buckle and adjust for comfort, then cut off the excess. Each collar provides up to seven months of continuous, long-lasting flea and tick prevention and protection. Use this collar with other ADAMS products (sold separately) to protect your pet, home, and yard from unwelcome pests.

Precautions

Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through skin. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet.

Instructions

Remove collar from package, unroll and stretch to activate insecticide generator. (As the collar begins to work, a fine white powder will appear on the surface)
Do not use on puppies under 6 weeks old. Do not unroll collar until ready to use.
The collar must be worn loosely to allow for growth of the dog and to permit the collar to move about the neck. (A properly fitted collar is one that, when fastened, will snugly slide over the pet’s head).
Leave 2 or 3 inches on the collar for extra adjustment and cut off and dispose of the extra length.

Size

One size fits all. For dogs with a smaller neck, simply trim the collar to size.

Important Information

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.
